Leather Love

Lately--and perhaps a tad incongruously, considering the summer heat--I've found myself craving a nice leather jacket. You know the kind: warm, heavy, with that heady lamb leather scent and classic enough detailing to last for years.

For only $1,500, the edgy Acne Mape Jacket could be yours. Of course, I wish it could be mine, but I do not happen to have a cool one-point-five grand burning a hole through my pocket.

Or you could really splurge on the Saint Laurent Leather Biker Jacket if you've been dousing pocket-burning sprees for awhile--this fire's about $5,645. Burn baby, burn.

The pièce de résistance... The Rika Chris Jacket in Black/Burgundy. Retailing for a pretty penny (or, more accurately, 123,885 pennies+shipping) it's definitely expensive but also absolutely gorgeous. Rika shows such attention to detail and adds just enough uniqueness to the Chris Jacket to stand out but not be overpowering.

Cruel Summer

The weather around here hasn't gotten the memo that it's almost summer. Today it was windy, overcast, and rather chilly (which makes sense, considering the aforementioned wind). I'd say it's cruel of nature, a crying shame, but then I wouldn't get to wear cozy outfits like this one. ^_^

Color corrected to fix the light. Believe me, it didn't look this vibrant out.

Right between the taking of this picture and the following one, my neighbors drove by and slowed as they passed. My friend's nana stared out the window at me, somewhat bewildered.
I surmise that I may or may not have been a topic of dinner conversation, if they had nothing better to talk about.

Me feeling slightly abashed.

Child's Play

I adore this sign. Unfortunately, I believe this sign is now gone to some other (better?) place since they recently remodeled (is revamped a better word?) this playground.
This is actually a different playground within the vicinity. I used to love playing on this funky teeter-totter. Now I love posing on it.

Here is a lovely miniature taco I made with a deformed tortilla chip and some of my extra regular-sized taco fixings.

Pushing Daisies

Yellow roses through a screen.

Just sitting on the edge of the curb backwards, don't mind me. (Also do not mind our sparse lawn.)

Weird cartoonily-distended-feet shadows.

"Hopefully I don't get hit! Heh heh!"

"Is that a car...?"

Ride...

...or die.

Pushing daisies.

Random Throwback... Even though it's not Thursday.

I could've sworn that I already uploaded this pic along with a few others. However, I couldn't find them in the archives. Which means I either accidentally deleted them, or actually did not ever upload. Hmm. If I already did upload, my apologies. I'll keep it short. Here's me sort of reading a magazine.

Chinese New Year Shoot!

So, I was looking back in the archives and realized I had posted a picture of Naomi from the waist down, promising to upload the whole Chinese New Year shoot later.

Apparently, I meant a whole lot later.
So here it is, finally.

Don't mind me, I'm just trying to be cool...
(Is it working?)

I've made my bed and now I'm laying in it.

Let's hang out sometime.

(Okay, that was pretty morbid humor. She's just jumping in the air.)

Cheery cherry blossoms.
